GUEST BOOK / CLIENT FEEDBACK

This is what our clients say

I went to Zuluk-Nathang Valley Bird Photography Tour in April 2015. Initially I was little worried about weather and the bird sightings, but I was surprised! With a good team and thanks to Dibyendu on lead we had an amazing birding time. Superb sightings; mostly lifers with Himalayan Monal being my favourite. Had a excellent exploration time and got some pretty good shots. The hospitality, food, staying everything was nice. Even birding in snow was fun! The place was beautiful and the whole of East-Sikkim time will remain special for me. Quite happy with the overall experience and definitely looking forward for more trips :-)

It was a nice first time relishing experience in Sunderban. Learnt a lot from Tamanaud, Soumyajit and Dibyendu about photography, wildlife, etc. It was a customized tour and a lot better than the conducted tours organized by average travel company. I had a nice time floating through the creeks of sunderban. Nice food and bed arrangements.

Thank you Dibyendu for planning and executing the trip to Sunderbans. It went as planned, except for the boat ride (small) in the smaller estuaries which would have been possible time permitting and of course the most coveted sighting of the bengal tiger :) . Transport, Boat, Accommodation & Food was as per expected and your services along with the guides was outstanding. I'am still arranging loads of pictures we took during our safari's and hope to sort it out in a day or two. Will surely recommend your services to friends who will be planning a tour to Sunderbans.

Me & my son attended a Birding Camp in Ghatgarh area in Camp Milieu organised by Going Wild wef 01 to 05 Oct 14. It was a small group consisting of seven persons, but all seemed hard core birders. The birding activities went on despite bad weather from morning till evening. Well, kudos to Mr Dibyendu of GoingWild & Mr Rajesh of Camp Milieu for organising a wonderful birding camp.

I attended a birding camp at Camp Milieu in Ghatgarh, Uttarakhand which was organized by Going Wild and it was simply the best camping experience I have had so far! Accommodation, food were great and nothing was left to want. I was also very much impressed by Mr. Dibyendu Ash's knowledge of the local flora and fauna. Highly recommended!

It was a good trip to the places around Sattal, Pangot, Ghatghar, Camp Milieu. These places have good potential for birding. I had good number of lifers out thwere. To mention a few, the black tailed Sunbird, Grey headed Canary, Himalayan Woodpecker, Khajij and more from the woodpeckers. I enjoyed the trip with the fellow members. It was an awesome experience meeting up new friends. I had a good wish list. And had the weather been a bit more cooperative the lifer list would have increased all the more. Thank you Going Wild for making this happen.. Especially Dibyendu Ash...

I don't have much to say, only this that, The team of GoingWild is great, they know what they are doing, they deliver what ever they say, and there is no business language with them its just passion and Passion it is. Was with them on one trip only, but felt like I know them for years. They take care of everything, not only the stay, travel and food, but also the most important thing that is show you the wild. They are just as enthusiast on the trails as a new commer would be, and it rubs on to the whole group on the trail. I look forward to a lot of camps with them. Thank you GoingWild!

Corbett Tiger Photography Tour, 28 April-3 may, 2014 This was one of the most memorable safari tour ever taken, with marathon 10 safaris back-to-back. It was a break-free kind of an experience, which I was eagerly looking and I must admit, it has not failed me. I was benefited by the rich expertise of Mr Soumyajit Nandy, who was not only my tour operator, but also a renowned naturalist and wild-life expert. His insight about the different species in and around Corbett helped me to get enriched about the various aspects of the jungle ecology. Other icing on the cake was our safari driver Mr Irshad, whose vast experience about the jungle terrain and enthusiasm to show tiger and other species of the reserve helped me to collect a huge data as a wild life photographer. My stay at Gairal FRH was an out-of-the-world experience. Situated on top of a hill, this small FRH is my kind of place. With hardly any crowd to bother, the night ambience was awesome. Pitch in dark and only the star lit sky, one feels mesmerized to see fire flies blinking in front of you. To top it, the sound of slow river stream down the hill, interjected by sound of elephant trumpet or a jackal howling. Sitting in the front lawns alone, it gave me time to reflect and be in sync with Mother Nature. We criss-crossed this huge jungle for four days, I never stopped admiring the vastness and variation it provides. From hills to river to plain grassland, the variation it brings is endless. That is why, its so rich in flora and fauna too. In my view, its jungle of all jungles. The down side of my tour was that I could not sight any tiger; however, a jackal killing of a fawn was something new and unique. Since my trip to Corbett will continue in future, I must say, it’s just a start and good luck will ultimately prevail. The tour was conducted very professionally, with attention to small details and timely advice like keeping spare batteries helped me to cope up with the recharging issues. My interaction with GoingWild will continue. Hopefully, they will oblige me with loyalty discount in their forthcoming trips.

My birding and photography tour of Ghatgarh, Pangot and Sattal with Goingwild in April 2014 was a truly awesome experience. Even though it was supposed to be a birding trip, and it was with over 100 bird species seen, it turned out to be a true wildlife trip with the thrilling sightings of a few rare himalayan mammals as well. The tour arrangements including accommodation, food and transport were top notch as usual. Thanks to Soumyajitda and the entire Goingwild team for the great experience. Looking forward to going on such memorable trips in the future.

Dear members of the Going Wild Team, Thank You for organizing the customized birding trip of East Sikkim. It was judiciously planned and meticulously executed. The planning was particularly great because I had not expected the trip to proceed like clockwork, considering, I had contacted you barely 7-8 days prior to the commencement of the trip. The advance information (detailed itinerary, checklist of things to carry, What to expect etc.) was very helpful. We covered all the species that we were expecting plus a few more unexpected ones as well. Got extreme close-up of the Himalayan Monal and some good pictures of the Fire-tailed Sunbird and a few minlas/shivas which were the highlights of the trip for me. Overall sighting was fabulous through out the trip with 70+ lifers in birds and 3 mammals - Goral, Civet and Picca. Logistic wise, car was good, the accommodation was comfortable and the food was great. The car never broke down anywhere and there were very few power cuts wherever we stayed. We had no problem charging out batteries, phones etc. Food was home cooked - Dal, roti, rice, chicken, egg, veggies etc.with unlimited supply of tea. Having Dibyendu, who himself is a pro-birder, with us obviously made the trip more productive, as he is already well acquainted with the birding sites in Padamchen, Zuluk and Gnathang Valley. We used to have knowledge sharing sessions in the evening with tea where we would discuss the species sighted and prepare strategy for the next day. Waiting impatiently to join you guys on your next birding trips. Thanks once again.

I was on the February tour to Bandhavgarh with GoingWild. Right from the preparation till the end of the tour, the one thing that stood out was the great planning by Soumyajit and his team. They are very professional and take very good care of their clients. What was heartening to see is that they are very transparent, ethical in their operations and also really do teach their clients photography techniques when on the safaris. It was a real pleasure to be on this trip and i hope to be able to join them again soon. I would highly recommend Going Wild to people who want to travel. Make sure that you tap into Soumyajit's great knowledge of birds!
